Can I use online ordination to officiate a wedding?

Online ordination may help someone prepare to officiate, but wedding ceremony and marriage license requirements vary by state and county. Always verify local rules before performing a ceremony.

Do I still need to check state marriage laws?

Yes. Officiants should confirm local registration, witness, license return, and ceremony requirements with the issuing marriage office.
