OVERVIEW OrdainedPro provides wedding-officiant software, online ordination resources, client and ceremony management, script and vow-building tools, scheduling, contracts, invoices, payments, professional profiles, marketplace features, communications, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information OrdainedPro collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices available to users. INFORMATION WE COLLECT We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, business and profile details, account credentials, subscription selection, communications, support requests, and content you create or upload. Officiants may enter information about couples, ceremony participants, events, schedules, vows, scripts, contracts, invoices, payments, files, and messages. Users are responsible for obtaining any permission required before entering another person's information. We may also collect transaction and subscription information. Payment-card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by OrdainedPro. We receive limited payment information such as customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, amount, date, and the last four digits or type of a payment method when Stripe makes that information available. When you use the site, we may collect device and browser information, IP address, timestamps, referring pages, pages or features used, campaign and conversion information, diagnostic logs, security events, and similar usage information. Cookies and comparable technologies may be used for authentication, preferences, security, analytics, advertising measurement, and essential site functions. HOW WE USE INFORMATION We use information to create and secure accounts; provide the features a user requests; manage subscriptions and purchases; generate, save, and deliver scripts, vows, documents, and files; facilitate communications, scheduling, contracts, invoices, payments, profiles, and marketplace activity; provide customer support; send service notices and permitted marketing communications; measure and improve the service; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with law; and enforce our agreements. ACCOUNT AND MARKETING EMAIL An email address is collected to create and secure an account and to deliver service, transaction, security, billing, and support messages. Marketing email is optional and is sent only when a user separately selects the marketing checkbox or otherwise gives valid permission. The marketing checkbox is not preselected and is not required to create or use an account. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing stops marketing messages but does not prevent necessary account, security, billing, transaction, or support communications. GOOGLE ACCOUNT AND CALENDAR DATA If you choose Sign in with Google, OrdainedPro receives basic account information that Google makes available, such as your name, email address, profile image, and a Google account identifier, for authentication and account management. If you separately connect Google Calendar, OrdainedPro requests permission to create, update, and cancel events on your primary calendar for scheduling ceremonies and meetings and, when requested, to create Google Meet details and send attendee updates. Calendar access and refresh tokens are stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies for the connection period and are used only to provide these user-requested calendar functions. OrdainedPro does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not permit humans to read it except with the user's affirmative agreement for support, when required for security or legal compliance, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations. OrdainedPro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google Calendar in OrdainedPro and revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions. AI-ASSISTED FEATURES When you use an AI-assisted script, vow, or writing feature, the prompts, answers, ceremony details, or text needed to fulfill that request may be sent to an artificial-intelligence service provider, including OpenAI. Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information, must have permission to submit information about other people, and must review generated content before using it. OrdainedPro uses this information to provide the requested feature, maintain safety and quality, and troubleshoot failures; it is not sold as a standalone product. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION We may share information with service providers that process data on our behalf to operate OrdainedPro. Depending on the feature used, these providers may include Supabase for authentication and database services; Netlify for hosting and delivery; Stripe for subscriptions, payments, connected accounts, and fraud prevention; Resend for transactional and permitted marketing email; BoldSign for electronic signatures; OpenAI for AI-assisted features; Google for authentication, Calendar, Meet, analytics, and advertising measurement; Cloudflare for security and bot protection; and other vendors necessary to deliver a feature requested by the user. Information may also be shared with a user's direction, with people or organizations the user chooses to communicate or transact with, in public profiles or marketplace listings the user elects to publish, during a business transaction involving OrdainedPro, to protect rights and safety, or when required by law. OrdainedPro does not sell couple information or Google user data. OrdainedPro does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising except as disclosed through applicable cookie or privacy controls. PUBLIC AND SHARED CONTENT Information placed in a public officiant profile, marketplace listing, testimonial, review, community area, or shared link may be visible to others and may be indexed by search engines. Private couple workspaces, vows, files, and messages are intended for authorized participants, but users control whom they invite and what they share. DATA RETENTION We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain an account, complete transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, satisfy tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type. Google Calendar access and refresh tokens stored in secure cookies expire or are removed when the connection is disconnected; a refresh token cookie may remain for up to 30 days unless removed sooner. Backup and legally required records may remain for a limited period after deletion from active systems. SECURITY OrdainedPro uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS You may update certain account and profile information in the service, disconnect integrations, unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe link, and request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Service, transaction, security, and legal notices may still be sent when necessary. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law. CHILDREN OrdainedPro is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING OrdainedPro and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ from those in the user's location. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy as OrdainedPro and applicable requirements change. The effective date and version shown on this page identify the current policy. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
